Beginning in the early 2000's mini-split heat pumps have seen a significant increase in popularity due to their unmatched flexibility, efficiency and warranties. In recent years manufacturers such as Mitsubishi and Daikin have made significant advances in their compressor and control board technology which now make a mini-split heat pump a legitimate option for year round heating and cooling in North Central Ohio.

Available in single head (1:1) and multi-head arrangements (8:1), mini-split heat pumps are extremely versatile. Traditional wall mounted indoor units still remain the most common, but ceiling recessed cassettes, floor mounted consoles and ducted options have gained in popularity over the years.
